Psychotherapy
with Individuals, Couples and
Groups

I work with clients to formulate goals for our therapy work and
come to an agreement about what we will be doing in therapy sessions
together. Methods for working towards those goals may come from a
variety of approaches, including family systems therapy, depth
psychology, expressive arts therapy and hypnotherapy. I am
comfortable with both transpersonal and cognitive models. One model for
understanding how I work is Self-Relations Psychotherapy (a therapeutic model developed by
Stephen Gilligan that focuses on reconnecting mind/body processes) and
my clients and I frequently use gestalt, process-oriented therapy
techniques, inner-child work to explore parts of themselves, as well
as investigating the meaning of dreams, physical symptoms, and
behavioral patterns in their lives.
